HAMBURG’S MANIFOLD CULTURAL LANDSCAPE

Arts & Culture in Hamburg

Hamburg is a true cultural metropolis with its approx. 60 museums, many galleries and around 45 theaters. Every day about 50,000 visitors are delighted about the variety of Hamburg’s cultural landscape. How about an opera or a ballet at the Hamburg Staatsoper, or a visit to the Hamburg Kunsthalle, with works of art from the likes of Paul Klee, Rembrandt, C.D. Friedrich and many more? Or be thrilled by the acoustics at the new philharmonic hall „Elbphilharmonie“. At the acclaimed “Miniature Wonderland 13.000 meters of rails and approx. 930 trains await you.

In the Hamburg Dungeon you can get a glimpse of the dark sides of the city’s history, and for example take a ride in the Elevator of Horrors down to the catacombs of the Speicherstadt. For those that prefer it a bit calmer, a modern play in a private atmosphere at the Hamburger Kammerspiele Theater, is recommended. Only a few minutes away from The Private Hotel Lindtner, the entire spectrum of the arts and culture scene can be enjoyed.
